Sal’s Pals Golf Classic for Cystic Fibrosis

I just finished a video that will be featured at the dinner for Sal’s Pals Golf Classic to benefit Cystic Fibrosis tomorrow night October 16, 2008. The event is taking place at the Parkland Golf and Country Club in Parkland, Florida.

Sal passed away last year. Every year Sal would host a dinner to raise money to help find the cure for CF. His son Nicholas was diagnosed with CF at 18 months. Nicholas celebrated his tenth birthday in August.

Video…Works.

The other day I answered a Craigslist ad for a videographer to shoot a wedding this weekend in Boca Raton, Florida. Within a half hour of sending an email I got a call from Jean Marcotte.

Jean told me that he received almost 100 replies, talked to a bunch of people already and that he wanted me to do the job. He went to this blog page and watched the videos I had posted. After a few minutes on the phone, Jean said, “I feel like I know you already and you are the guy I want to work with this weekend.”

This is another example of what happens when…”you put it out there“…using video. From watching the video of my interview with Tia Crystal he made his decision.
